Fiction
Up to 2,500 words. Captivating, well-written stories that resonate with our audience.
Poetry
Submit up to 5 poems. We accept all forms: rhyming, non-rhyming, haikus, sonnets, and free verse.
Creative Non-Fiction (CNF)
1,000-4,000 words. Essays, memoirs, and personal narratives with a strong literary focus.
Book Reviews
Up to 1,500 words. Reviews of recent or relevant books; poetry collections are especially welcomed.
Visual Arts
Submit 1-5 original, high-quality images in photography, painting, sketchwork, graphic art, mixed media, and more.
Interviews
Suggested 1,000-3,000 words. Include a brief intro and format as Q&A or narrative discussion.
Submissions must be original and unpublished unless explicitly solicited. Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please notify us promptly if accepted elsewhere.
Include a short bio (50-100 words) and a photograph (formal or playful). We may edit for clarity or format and occasionally change titles; you will be notified of changes.
We do not accept plagiarism, AI-generated content, hate speech, or discriminatory content.
We pay contributors the sum of NGN 5,000 per accepted piece.
Formatting: Use 12-point Times New Roman, double spacing, justified alignment, and page numbers. Submit documents in MS Word format (visual arts can be JPEG/PNG).
Response time: We aim to respond within two months. If you have not heard from us after that, please send a query in the same email thread.
